The plan between your accountant and your adviser

Buzz Financial Planning exists because the most important financial question most people have is the one nobody is positioned to answer.

Where this came from

Buzz is an accountancy practice first. Over years of doing companies' books the same thing kept happening: the business would be in good order, the owner's own position would never come up, and when it finally did — usually because something forced it — nobody had ever modelled it.

Accountants aren't placed to answer it, because it isn't the business's money. Regulated advisers answer it in the course of recommending a product, which is a good answer to a different question. So it sits in a gap, and people guess.

We built the modelling engine to close that gap for our own clients, and it turned out to be worth offering properly.

How we're paid

Plainly, because this is where the profession usually goes vague.

You pay us

£399 for the Plan, and £49 a month if you want it kept true. That's the only money we take from you for this work.

No product provider pays us for planning

Because we don't recommend products. There's nothing for anyone to pay us for.

If we introduce you to Equity & General

And you become their client, E&G pay Buzz a commission. We tell you before the introduction rather than after, it's optional, and it makes no difference to what your plan says.

The rest of the group

If your plan leads to a will, that's Buzz Legal, priced separately and only if you want it.

What we won't do

Recommend products

A pension, an investment, a lender, an insurer or a debt solution. Not ours to do.

Hold or manage your money

We never touch it.

Give an off-the-record opinion

There's no such thing, and it's exactly how people get hurt.

Tell you it's fine when it isn't

Or sell you a plan when your position is simple enough not to need one.

Financial planning is not regulated financial advice
