Your pensions, ISAs and savings stay with the providers that hold them now. We model them with your spending and UK tax every year to age 100, and charge a fixed fee for the plan: £1,500, paid once.
Pensions, ISAs, savings, property and the business stay where they are, with the same providers.
Current values come from your statements, and your spending from the Healthcheck, which reads your bank and cannot move money.
We run every year to age 100 with UK tax applied, then two thousand reshuffled runs, and measure each risk in years.
Each finding ends in a question for you, and you get a list of actions for the next ninety days, each with a date.
Choosing or moving a pension, fund or policy is regulated advice. When a decision needs a personal recommendation we say so and can introduce you to Equity & General, authorised and regulated by the FCA (No. 474163). The introduction is optional. If you become their client, E&G pay Buzz a commission, and we tell you about it before the introduction.
The fee does not change with the value of your investments.
| Who pays | For what | Amount |
|---|---|---|
| You | The Financial Plan, paid once | £1,500 |
| You, if you choose it | Ongoing planning, cancel any time | £49 a month |
| Product providers | Planning work | £0 |
| Equity & General | A commission, if we introduce you and you become their client, disclosed before the introduction | Told to you first |
You keep choosing them. The plan uses the values you hold and a growth assumption, by default 3% a year above inflation, which you can change. It shows what a poor run of returns in the first three years after you stop work does to the age your money lasts, and what holding more or less in cash does to the result.
If you already have an adviser, the plan goes to them with the modelling done, and you can share it with your accountant too. Coach, planner or adviser sets out where planning stops and regulated advice begins.
No. A personal recommendation on a fund, pension or policy is regulated financial advice, and Buzz Accounting Ltd is not authorised to give it. The plan shows what different choices do to your projection, for example stopping at 60 compared with 63, or overpaying the mortgage compared with paying into a pension, and you decide. Where you want a recommendation on a product, we say so and can introduce you to Equity & General (FCA 474163). The introduction is optional, and we tell you about E&G’s commission to Buzz before it.
No. We need current values, which come from your statements or your providers’ online accounts, and we ask you for them. The only connection is the free Healthcheck, which links your bank read-only so the plan uses your recorded spending. You authorise it on your own bank’s website, we never see your banking credentials, it cannot move money, and you can disconnect at any time. You can also skip it and give us your spending figures yourself, and we work from those.
No. Buzz Accounting Ltd does not manage or hold client money, and managing investments is regulated work for an authorised firm. The Financial Plan and ongoing planning cover the projection, the tax and whether your plan still works, and your money stays with your providers throughout. If you decide you want your investments managed, that is a decision for you to take with an authorised firm, and we can introduce you to Equity & General (FCA 474163) if you would like. The introduction is optional.
A regulated adviser gives a personal recommendation on a product and may manage the investments afterwards for a percentage of the money each year. The Financial Plan is financial planning: a written plan of every year to age 100 with UK tax applied, the stress tests and your next ninety days, for a fixed fee. It is not regulated financial advice. The plan gives an adviser your position with the modelling already done. How much a financial plan costs compares the fees.
The plan works alongside one. You keep your adviser and your investments as they are, and the plan shows whether the whole picture adds up: pensions, property, the business, spending and the date you want to stop work. It is written so that an adviser or accountant can follow your position quickly, and every assumption is printed, so your adviser can see exactly what was modelled. If you disagree with any assumption, we re-run the projection with your figure.
An hour with a planner on whether the Financial Plan suits your position.
A written plan: every year to age 100 with UK tax applied, each risk measured in years, and your next ninety days.
